Ronda Rousey accuses a current NXT star of inappropriately touching her backstage during her tenure in WWE.
In an interview with Brian Entin of NewsNation to promote her new book “Our Fight,” Rousey described a time in WWE when she was in the writers room awaiting a conversation with Triple H when an individual approached her from behind, seized the elastic band of her sweatpants, and then exited. She subsequently identified this individual as Drew Gulak, a current NXT combatant.
What Ronda Rousey Told About the Incident
Brian Entin describes what happened as follows: “I was standing there and this man, who I was hardly acquainted with, grabbed the string of my sweatpants as I was walking by. No one seemed to think this was strange, and he continued down the hall, and I was like, ‘What the f*ck is that? You’re holding onto the drawstring of my sweatpants—why?
Is it okay for you to approach me and take hold of my sweatpants’ string if my spouse was standing right next to me? This is just a part of the day, all the guys surrounding me said. And what’s happening to these other girls when I’m not in the hallway if this guy was approaching me and harassing me in this way when other people were around?
Later on, Rousey claimed to have questioned Gulak about the incident. “We’re going to have a problem if I ever hear you touching another woman in a similar manner or doing anything else to me in a similar manner again. He then took a step back, saying, “No, no, no, I’m glad you said something to me.” However, it left me with a bad impression of the local culture, including what constitutes appropriate behavior and how to interact with and handle ladies in the halls.

Rousey Left WWE
Since her August 2018 departure from WWE following her SummerSlam loss to Shayna Baszler, Rousey has maintained a negative attitude toward her tenure in the organization. Gulak continues to be affiliated with WWE through their NXT brand in the capacity of a member of the No Quarter Catch Crew, which presently possesses the NXT Heritage Cup trophy.
This week, Rousey stated in an interview with “Good Morning America” that she would only return to WWE if “significant and profound changes” occurred within the organization.
