Deketrice had moved to Springfield, Missouri, by 2008, but she still tended to become obsessed. In 2012, she started going out with Rachel, but she told the host that she didn’t trust her. Deketrice stated that he followed Rachel to work, looked at her phone, and hurt her physically and emotionally.

Deketrice was finally found guilty of stalking in October 2018 and given a four-year prison term. She was also found guilty of other crimes, such as domestic violence, tampering with a motor vehicle, and first-degree theft, according to her criminal record.
After getting out on parole, Deketrice was let out on parole in November 2021. She talked about how faith and going to a Bible study group had helped her in the past on the show.
