His final Facebook post before leaving her included the accusation that Marlena had “let her wrath get the best of her.” Chris’s father, Jim Christensen, was a seasoned musical director for Disney parks. He was facing misdemeanor counts of child endangerment and violence, and his court date was set for Monday, December 5.
I think it’s safe to say that Marlena sincerely regrets making that call because the events of that night have utterly wrecked both of our lives, he wrote in a lengthy Facebook statement. Let it be known that a truly excellent man, one who was kind, kind, loving, and honest, was shattered in the course of one terrible night.

Chris also used his wife’s “rage” as an example to show his pals how wrath can “really have incredibly devastating repercussions on a person’s life,” all while mocking her and declaring, “people need to start treating each other better.”
He was “on the verge” of losing his job because of the allegations, which was cited as one of the reasons for his suicide. The 51-year-old said he never hurt his wife or daughters during the fight, but feared an “innocent guy” would be killed because of the “extremely faulty” justice system.

Chris allegedly spent his last day “reaching out to people closest to him” before taking his own life, as detailed in his post. āThis is not an ideal way to go out, but at least I get a chance to say some final words to those who I love and adoreā, he continued. Have some compassion for one another, people! Be courteous and kind to one another.
People need to stop being so angry and start treating one another with more compassion. Everything I’ve described above is a classic case of how “rage” may have serious and long-lasting consequences for a person’s health and happiness.
Chris had before begged his readership to “remember me for all the good I gave to the world of education” The Fountain Valley School District, where Chris had worked, informed his loved ones of his loss.
“Mr. Christensen has been a respected leader in FVSD for almost 20 years,” the statement continued. His involvement with and contributions to the neighborhood are monumental. To many, he was a father, husband, brother, and friend. Because of his death, we are devastated and saddened.
