Riverdale Season 6: When Is Season 6 of ‘Riverdale’ on Netflix?

Magic, time travel, and the deaths of several significant characters are just some of the crazy things that have transpired in the recent episodes of Riverdale’s sixth season, which has been a genuine roller coaster ride.

Since the release date for the season has been determined, Netflix customers who have been holding off on beginning their viewing of the show until the entire season is available on the streaming service will soon be able to do so.

The CW has also stated that Season 6 will be the penultimate one for Riverdale, suggesting that it is an ideal time for a rewatch before the last-ever episodes are broadcast.

Here’s when you will be able to watch Riverdale Season 6 on Netflix.

Riverdale Season 6 Netflix Release Date

The CW network has a pact whereby every show that debuted on the network prior to 2019 will be available on Netflix when a certain amount of time has passed.

At that point, which is eight days following the conclusion of the season, all 22 episodes of the season are simultaneously made available on the streaming service.

Riverdale, on the other hand, constitutes a marginal departure from this rule. Each new episode is uploaded on Netflix the following day after it has debuted on The CW for the first time in some areas. On Monday, August 1 at 7 am Universal Coordinated Time, the concluding episode of Riverdale Season 6 became available on Netflix in those regions.

In certain other countries, notably the United States of America, the complete seasons of the show are made available on streaming services all at once. The conclusion of Riverdale Season 6 was broadcast on The CW on July 31, which means that the premiere of the program on Netflix will take place on Monday, August 8.

When it comes to the release timing in the United States, those episodes are scheduled to be made available at three in the morning local time (EDT) and midnight local time (PDT).

If you want to watch Riverdale from the beginning, all five previous seasons are currently available to stream in their entirety on Netflix. Those who are interested in watching the show without having to pay can do so by going to the website or app of The CW, where the five most recent episodes are currently streaming in exchange for advertisements.

What can those who have been patiently waiting to watch Riverdale expect from the sixth season? The following is how the official synopsis reads: “The event arc known as “Rivervale” will kick off Riverdale’s sixth season, which will consist of a total of five episodes.

This season picks up right where the last one left off, with Archie (KJ Apa) and Betty (Lili Reinhart) making the decision to give their romantic connection another go, just as Hiram Lodge (Mark Consuelos) was ready to detonate a bomb that he had hidden under Archie’s bed.

Riverdale Season 6

Strangely, it appears that the bomb does not detonate, and when Archie and Betty wake up the following morning, they are no longer living in Riverdale but instead in the town of Rivervale.

Their previous existence in Riverdale seems like a distant dream. It’s hard to imagine, but the atmosphere in Rivervale is significantly more sinister and unsettling than in Riverdale.

There are plenty of ghosts, curses, witches, demons, human sacrifices, and special guest stars in this episode, including a visit from everybody’s favorite twenty-something witch, Sabrina Spellman (guest star Kiernan Shipka)! How did it come about that our characters are now living in Rivervale?

And exactly what is the town of Rivervale? An alternate universe? A dream dimension? Limbo? Archie’s dream about being in a coma? The secret will be exposed in the one-hundredth episode of Riverdale, which is titled “The Jughead Paradox.”

After the release of Season 6 on Netflix, the countdown for the show’s concluding season will officially begin. Because Season 7 is scheduled to premiere on The CW in January 2023, it is quite likely that the entire season will be available to stream in its entirety on Netflix by the summer of that same year.
