Fans of Snowpiercer want to know when Season 3 will come out. Seasons 1 and 2 had a story that was completely different and very exciting. Well, here’s everything you need to know about when things will come out next season.
The movie Snowpiercer came out in 2013, and the TV show is based on it. The plot of the TV show is similar to that of the movie, but there are more twists and turns.
The efforts to stop global warming fail and the results are terrible. The world is in the middle of an ice age, and most people have died. Now, the survivors get on a life-saving train built by a billionaire that goes around the world at a very high speed.
People are separated by class, and there aren’t enough resources for everyone to live. All the chaos in the series comes from this, and it will continue in Snowpiercer Season 3.
The Cast of Snowpiercer Season 3
Several characters are back for Season 3. Jennifer Connolly will come back, even though her character Melanie seemed to die at the end of the second season.

In a recent interview with TVLine, Becky Clements gave a bit of a mixed message when asked about Melanie’s fate. She said, “I don’t know if she’s still alive,” but also said, “We’re glad Jennifer will be back for season 3.” So maybe her part in the next season will only be in flashbacks.
Fans can also expect to see more of Daveed Diggs as Layton and Sean Bean as Mr. Wilford, as well as series regulars Alison Wright, Rowan Blanchard, Lena Hall, Mickey Sumner, Sam Otto, Annalise Basso, and Steven Ogg.
Archie Panjabi, from The Fall and The Good Wife, will join the cast as Asha, a survivor who got off the train. Clements has also said that “a couple of smaller characters” will also join the show. When we find out more about that, we’ll let you know.
The Story of the Third Season of Snowpiercer
Before the show started, the show’s executive producer, Becky Clements, told us what to expect in the next season now that the two trains are no longer together.
When asked if the series would be like a race between two trains, Clements said: “Some chasing will happen, but not the whole season. There are definitely a lot of stories going on. There’s staying alive, figuring out what happened to Melanie, doing research on the train, and getting to the end goal.”
In a separate interview with Deadline, Clements said that in the next season, all the characters will be “trying to find their place in their new world.” She also confirmed that there would be a time jump to show “what the new world order looks like.”
She also: “In season 3, it’s a lot of fun to make new allies and fight new enemies. It’s been fun to see how the scene brings together new people.”
She also said that we will learn more about Josie’s (Katie McGuinness) powers, which were mentioned in the second season.
She said, “That’s kind of our fun, interesting, sci-fi-style bit of human enhancement.” “How far can we go with CRISPR, and should we? What do you think happens when we start messing with the one who made us? So, yes. There are also some interesting things coming.”
Sean Bean also talked to the New York Times about the new alliances and how having to work with Layton to connect the trains will change Wilford’s rule.
“Maybe we’ll be able to see him in a better way. He sometimes has to bargain with people, give in to some of their requests, and try to be diplomatic “Bean said.
“This might make people think Wilford is giving up, but there’s always a reason behind it; it’s never simple. That’s how smart and good at making plans he is.”
After it was shown in season 2 that the world was getting warmer, we are sure that the very timely message about climate change will be expanded on in season 3, especially since Melanie seemed to die while trying to collect data on the changing temperatures. Now that we know there will be a time jump, will it soon be warm enough for people to leave Wilford?
As soon as we know more about the story, we’ll post it here, so check back often for the latest news. But don’t look to Bong Joon-cult ho’s film from 2013 for clues. The show has already changed a lot from the movie it was based on.
