Bachelorette Star Rachel Lindsay is Forced to Increase Payments to Her Ex, Bryan Abasolo

The divorce between Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo appears to have reached a new height of drama on reality television! The former Bachelorette and her divorced ex-husband have signed a contract that will see Bryan take home a sizable portion of their joint assets. What a great farewell present!

Bryan wasn’t afraid to request a sizable payment, according to the most recent information from In Touch. Rachel appears to be giving him a little more than he had anticipated when he first sought $40,000 from their shared property.

Rachel Accepted to Give a Five-figure Deal to Her Ex

Bryan, 44, will receive $43,648 from Rachel, 39. When everything is said and done, this cash infusion will be subtracted from Bryan’s remaining share as an advance on their jointly owned assets.

Bryan will give up his demand for a hearing on this money dispute as part of the agreement. This action follows the disclosure by In Touch that, within days of receiving $13,000 a month in interim spousal support from Rachel, Bryan requested a five-figure sum.

Bryan defended his request by stating that he need an extra $5,000 for a forensic accountant in addition to $35,000 for legal bills. It appears that he has no qualms about piling up debt!

Bryan Claims He Couldn’t Support His Life Without Rachel

Bryan was lamenting before the spousal support arrived that his monthly income was just about $1,300. He maintained that in order to facilitate Rachel’s ascent to stardom, he had to make substantial career compromises.

In no uncertain terms, Bryan stated, “I put my career as a chiropractor on hold to move twice for Rachel’s career.” While Rachel’s income and popularity as a media figure increased dramatically, these actions had a negative impact on my chiropractic practice. It seems that he is not too happy with the way things worked out.

Bryan also stated that his monthly expenses were an astounding $24,000 and that he had to borrow money from his parents to pay for the costs associated with his divorce.

Bryan didn’t stop there. He said that Rachel thought their joint house was hers alone and that she was hoarding monies from their community property for her own professional use. “Rachel feels she is the only one who can use the money from our common property to pay for her professionals.

Bryan stated in court that Rachel “also thinks our community property home is all hers.”

At first, Rachel refused to comply with all of Bryan’s requests. Bryan, according to her attorney, was attempting to reopen matters that had already been resolved.

Bryan, according to the attorney, is attempting to reopen matters that were already resolved during a recent hearing. They clarified that Bryan’s legal team had requested access to the community property money on July 10, 2024, but that request had been turned down because it hadn’t been mentioned in Bryan’s first court filings.

Without holding back, Rachel’s attorney stated, “There is not the slightest hint of exigence here, so it is inappropriate to grant Bryan’s ex parte application to advance the hearing on his RFO. It is an abuse of the ex parte application process and should be denied entirely.”

Additionally, the lawyer made it apparent that Rachel wasn’t going to keep spending money blindly.

Rachel has finally consented to give up the money, in spite of her earlier refusal. Bryan filed for divorce on January 1, 2024, marking the legal end of the turbulent relationship between the former couple in December 2023.

Fans are left wondering what will happen to this turbulent couple as it appears that this chapter in their lives is far from over.
