Tanjiro Kamado
When a monster killed Tanjiro’s family and turned his sister Nezuko to the dark side, the main character’s life became a living nightmare. Tanjiro joins the Demon Slayer Corps because he is angry at the demons and loves his brother. He hopes to find a way to turn Nezuko back into a human.
Tanjiro is a warm and kind guy, but he is not afraid to make hard choices. He doesn’t think that demons should be spared or that killing them would make him no better than his enemies. Tanjiro gets the job done because someone counts on him. The main character won’t let his sister down.
Nezuko Kamado
While her brother was away one day, a demon killed the rest of Nezuko’s family. The young girl almost met the same fate, but she ended up turning into a demon instead. Tanjiro made it his goal to change Nezuko back into a human, but he failed.
Demon Slayer only shows a small part of Nezuko’s life as a person, but it shows that she was kind and nice. Nezuko changed a lot after she turned into a demon. She got very strong and had a strong desire for blood, which are both traits of demons.
She also lost most of her ability to speak and lived alone for a long time because she couldn’t stand being in the sun. Because of this, she is harder to figure out than some of the other characters in the anime, though it is clear that she loves her brother.
Zenitsu Agatsuma
Even though Zenitsu Agatsuma is a little bit older than Tanjiro, he doesn’t seem that way because he tends to run away. Even though he doesn’t always act like it, Zenitsu isn’t bad with a weapon. He knows how to use them because Jigoro Kuwajima trained him as a child.
Zenitsu is pretty, with fair skin and golden eyes. His hair is a bowl cut and bright yellow because he was hit by lightning. This style makes the character look a little bit like a child, which fits with who he is.
Even though he is a controversial character, especially because of the humor he brings to Demon Slayer, Zenitsu is at the center of some of the most remembered parts of the anime.
