Have no fear! In the July 2021 end credits, it was stated that Loki would return for season two. The second season will be available on Disney+ in the summer of 2023, however, a specific release date has not yet been disclosed. This was announced by Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige at San Diego Comic-Con 2022.

Loki Season 2 Plot

The first season concluded with the climatic event into which the multiverses were introduced. Many have speculated that it was this scene—and Wanda’s part in the film—that precisely laid the stage for the mayhem of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. In a recent interview with Deadline, Michael Waldron, the screenwriter for both “Dr. Strange” and “Loki,” discussed why he decided to keep the two characters apart. Waldron remarked, “To me, it seemed like we had the biggest greatest bullet in Wanda,” in reference to Kang not being in Doctor Strange.
