Jeepers Creepers Reborn Review: Is Watching This Movie a Waste of Time?

Jeepers Creepers: Reborn is the fourth movie in the Jeepers Creepers series. It has a new set of stars, a new director, and a new writer. It gets rid of the first three, saying that they don’t exist in this sequel’s world, since it’s going to be the first in a new set of three stand-alone books. But Reborn doesn’t move far enough away from the idea of the trilogy.

In the Jeepers Creepers movies, the Creepers are made-up characters. It is an old, mysterious demon that eats human organs and replaces the ones that are damaged. It hunts for 23 days every 23rd spring. It can tell what to eat by how scared its victims are. Timo Vuorensola is in charge of making the supernatural horror movie Jeepers Creepers: Reborn. Screen Media Films put it out all over the world on September 19, 2022.

Jeepers Creepers Reborn Review

The movie is set in the same universe as the previous Jeepers Creepers movies and features a fan of those movies as the protagonist. The film’s plot is poorly explained, and the ending feels rushed and unsatisfying. Despite this, the cult aspect of the movie is intriguing and adds to the horror elements.

Reviews of Jeepers Creepers Reborn Movie

When reviewing a movie, the script and the plot are two important things to look at. The script for this movie is not one of the best. The way the movie is cut together is awful. Just the times they decided to stop talking in the middle of a sentence have this weird rhythm where it’s a millisecond or two too soon or too late, or it just doesn’t feel like how simple dialogue scenes are supposed to go.

The whole reason we’re bringing these characters together is that they’re having a big festival in the middle of town. This movie’s budget is so bad that it looks like a county fair with only about 15 people.

Jeepers Creepers Reborn Review

The Creeper is not a typical slasher villain. He is a monster who eats humans. He chooses someone who has something he wants, eats it until the 23rd day, and then takes a nap. This is not a series of slasher movies. Why do you want to turn it into one?

They added a whole part to the plot where the two main characters are a couple. They are the main characters of the movie, and they tell you very early on that the girl is pregnant. The guy wants to propose to her, so there will be romance in the future that will be ruined by the situation.

Lack of Originality in the Storyline

Throughout the movie, there are little hints and character placements of people in this town who are clearly trying to lead this couple into the path of the Creeper because they know that the Creeper will want her because she is pregnant. There’s no good reason for that, and the movie doesn’t even try to explain it.

This was where the script went wrong. To begin with, none of the ideas are new. They just took things from other horror franchises and put them in the Jeepers Creepers franchise. By the time the movie is over, none of the things that are most important to the plot and story they’re trying to tell are explained at all.

Jeepers Creepers Reborn Review

When it comes to the actors and how they play their roles, this movie has terrible characters and terrible acting. The characters range from hard to stand to the most overused horror stereotypes you can think of. The main couple spends the whole movie trying to see who can say their lines the worst. The guy, in particular, was the most annoyingly neurotic person in the movie.

Also Check Out:

He looks like a chipmunk or a squirrel that just saw something in every scene. He’s making it sound like he knows who the Creeper is and is way too scared. You can’t for a second think that these two people are a real couple. They don’t get along at all, and there’s no romance between them. We don’t know anything about either of these two people.

What Happened at the End of the Story?

Jeepers Creepers Reborn Review

At the end of this movie, she goes after the Creeper. She gets the upper hand over him, and the movie stops for a dramatic moment to look at her. “How do you like those eyes?” she asks. With all of Creeper’s history, it’s such an unfair thing to do.

More About Jeepers Creepers Reborn

Category Movie
Action Getting to the plot shown in the trailer, where they go to a horror festival and win a prize that takes them to a haunted house, takes about 40 minutes to an hour. It shouldn’t have taken that long, but that’s where all the creepy stuff starts to happen.
Comedy The jokes that are supposed to be funny in the movie don’t even come close to being funny.
Drama There was nothing interesting about these people. You wouldn’t worry about their lives even a little bit.
Horror There’s no way this movie could scare you. If you don’t care about what happens to these people, you won’t be scared of the Creeper. You don’t care at all about what’s going on.
