Who is Ronny Chieng?
Comedian and actor Ronny Xin Yi Chieng hail from Malaysia. He’s the brains behind the ABC series Ronny Chieng: International Student and a senior correspondent on Comedy Central’s The Daily Show. On November 21, 1985, Chieng was born in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, to a family of Chinese ancestry.
He spent his formative years in both Singapore and the United States, including a period in Manchester, New Hampshire, from 1989 to 1994. When he was younger, he joined the Singapore Sea Scouts. Chieng attended Fuchun Primary School in Singapore, although living in Johor Bahru. He continued his education in Singapore at Pioneer Junior College and Pioneer Secondary School.

What’s Young Rock About?
U.S. sitcom Young Rock is inspired by the real-life experiences of actor and professional wrestler Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Johnson, Jeff Chiang, and Nahnatchka Khan are responsible for the creation of the series, which debuted on NBC on February 16, 2021.
Critical reception for the show has been overwhelmingly favorable. The second season order was announced in April of 2021. On December 15, 2021, a special holiday episode aired, and on March 15, 2022, the second season premiered.
