Paws of Fury: The Legend of Hank is an upcoming computer-animated martial arts comedy film directed by Rob Minkoff and Mark Koetsier. The screenplay, written by Ed Stone and Nate Hopper, is largely based on Mel Brooks’ 1974 film Blazing Saddles.

What Is the Plot of “Paws of Fury: The Legend of Hank”?
Hank, a lovely dog with samurai aspirations, sets off on a trip to realize his destiny. “A downtrodden hound called Hank finds himself in a town full of cats longing for a hero to rescue them from a diabolical villain’s dastardly scheme to wipe their hamlet off the map.”
With the help of a reluctant teacher to train him, our underdog must assume the role of town samurai and band together with the people to save the day. The only problem is that dogs dislike cats!
When Will Paws of Fury: The Legend of Hank Be Released?
The release date was originally set for April 14, 2017. Screen Daily reported in November 2019 that the film was “at initial animatic stage” at animation company Cinesite, with a 2021 release date anticipated.
In January 2022, Paramount Pictures bought the picture from GFM Animation and announced that it would be released in theatres on July 22, 2022, the same day as Paramount Animation’s own feature Under the Boardwalk.
The release date was pushed forward to July 15, 2022, in April 2022. The film would be distributed by Nickelodeon Movies rather than Paramount Animation, according to a poster.

First Reaction on Paws of Fury: The Legend of Hank Trailer
‘What the mother-father cocker spaniel is going on here?!’ exclaims one of the characters. Based just on the trailer, this film seems to be a shambles. The voice acting is among the worst in modern Western animation, and the animation seems to have been created around 2015.
One of the worst things to come out of animation in 2022 is the fart scene in the trailer, which had me physically react in front of my TV screen.
Disney/Pixar films have completely dominated the western animation feature film market. This does not seem to be capable of competing with Encanto or Lightyear.
Blazing Samurai was the initial title for this picture, which was revealed 5 years ago. In 2021, Paramount Productions stated that the picture would be released in March 2022, however, it has now been renamed Paws of Fury: The Legend of Hank and pushed back to July 15, 2022.
