RHOSLC Season 3: When Will RHOSLC Season 3 Air? Who’s Going to Return in Season 3?

Andy Cohen shared the news that production for the third season of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City had already begun before the season 2 reunion episode had started airing. Let’s find out more about the RHOSLC Season 3 release, cast, and more.

At the beginning of February, Cohen gave an interview to Entertainment Tonight in which he stated that “The reunion left off with the women who are remaining in quite a dramatic spot, where you don’t know what’s going to happen.”

I’m glad that there are cameras on them now because it’s already starting off, there’s a lot going on, and I’m glad that we’re there shooting right now. “So, I’m glad that there are cameras on them now.” We did something quite similar with Beverly Hills, where we started filming the new season relatively shortly after we filmed the reunion, and in the case of both of those, it really paid off.

The most plausible explanation for the faster production timeline is that Jen Shah’s trial, which was originally slated to start on March 7, has been moved up.

Nevertheless, a judge has already ordered that the beginning date be pushed back to July 11, and Real Housewives seasons normally only film for a total of three to four months at a time. Therefore, it is possible that the cameras belonging to Bravo are not catching the scenario that they had planned.

In spite of this, there is still a great deal of drama that is taking on in real-time, including the departure of two cast members. Here is everything that we know about the third season of RHOSLC at this point.

RHOSLC Season 3: Release Date

RHOSLC Season 3

Even though Cohen has given an unofficial confirmation that RHOSLC will be renewed, Bravo has not yet made the announcement, and it is probable that they won’t do so until around a month or two before the launch of the new season.

Because of the fact that RHOSLC Season 2 began airing in the middle of September, the debut of Season 3 is most likely going to take place in the late summer or early fall of 2022; however, due to the moved-up production timeline, it could take place somewhat earlier.

RHOSLC Season 3: Cast

Heather Gay, Whitney Rose, Lisa Barlow, and Meredith Marks will return with Jen. New cast members have been added, although it’s unclear whether they’ll be permanent.

Radar Online reported in March that salon owner Tyna Edwards and realtor Angie Katsanevas filmed with RHOSLC.

Angie is photographed with the other Real Housewives of Orange County cast members on the Queens of Bravo Instagram account, which also indicates she tested out for the show in 2019 on Heather’s advice. According to the same fan account, Lisa’s ex-friend Angie Harrington will return in an undetermined position. The fan account gave this info.

RHOSLC Season 3: Will Mary Return?

Mary Cosby won’t be on RHOSLC’s third season, despite various reports. When the church leader didn’t attend the Season 2 reunion, it was rumored she had resigned.

This ended the series. Mary said she wouldn’t attend the reunion because she expected a “one-sided” discussion on cult claims against her church. Crazy About Bravo taped and posted this January Twitter Spaces talk.

Cosby raised suspicion when she denied resigning from RHOSLC in February. She tweeted, “This Story Is Not True!!” in response to a Page Six post announcing her departure. It’s completely false!”

I’ve had no contact!” A source close to Bravo told ET after the reunion that she “knew her future with the show when she didn’t attend.” “She’s not shooting, and there are no plans to film with her,” said one insider. Since then, Cohen has said Mary would leave the program, but Bravo hasn’t confirmed it.

During the second season, Mary faced criticism for making racial remarks, in addition to the problems that she was having with the church. She made several references to her co-star Jennie Nguyen’s “slanted eyes” and “yellow” skin tone. After Jen’s arrest, Mary compared Jen to a “Mexican thug,” which increased the number of people who demanded that she be fired from her role.

RHOSLC Season 3: Why Won’t Jennie Return?

Bravo has just formally announced Jennie’s departure from the show. She was fired in January when racist Facebook posts were rediscovered.

Jennie apologized for calling Black Lives Matter protestors “thugs” and making light of police violence, but Bravo “ceased filming” with her and said she “will no longer be a cast member” of RHOSLC. This was from a January 25 Instagram post.

Bravo made a statement one week after Jennie’s social media comments gained prominence saying, “We failed to take required action after her repugnant social media statements were brought to our attention.” “From now on, we’ll improve our casting methods to make more informed judgments.”

Other Real Housewives of Orange County cast members condemned Jennie’s conduct, and Cohen reviewed the decision in February.

Cohen said, “We’re making a show about opinionated, often politically incorrect individuals expressing their views, and we have to be sensitive to racism.” “Listen, I believe we’re developing a program about opinionated, sometimes politically incorrect individuals who speak their mind”

Every instance is different, but we want to do the right thing and it’s a work in progress, added the host. “We must look out for everyone watching and on the program.”
