Princess Kate Stays Calm Amid Cancer Battle, Focusing on Health and Avoiding Drama

Princess Kate Middleton is battling cancer, but she is being calm and collected.

In an interview with Hello! magazine that was published on Tuesday, August 6, royal expert and author Robert Jobson said:

“She’s very calm.” “She’s someone who seeks to overcome obstacles and rise above the chaos, and I believe that after what she’s been through, you shouldn’t waste time on chaos or noise when it comes to your health. You go about your daily life and accomplish your goals.

Two months after undergoing stomach surgery, in March, 42-year-old Kate stated she was receiving prophylactic chemotherapy for an unidentified type of cancer. Kate posted on social media in June to say she was “making good process” in her recuperation and that she would be in therapy for “a few more months.”

Jobson, 60, pointed out that Kate had already informed King Charles III and the late Queen Elizabeth II that she would not be “rushed into doing things that she doesn’t necessarily want to do”—including prioritizing her royal responsibilities over her motherhood. This was before she was even diagnosed with cancer.

Jobson told the site, “That takes quite a lot of courage because you’re in a very alienated world.” However, I believe she came to the realization that this is her one chance. Her three small children must come first because of this. (Kate and her husband, Prince William, are parents to Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6).

Jobson claims that while her children are still young, Kate is making the most of “time she won’t get back” with them. He clarified, “The distinction between her and other people is that you may go through different phases in your career.” “With her career, things will only become more formal.”

In addition to discussing Kate’s work-life balance in the most recent cover story for Us Weekly, Jobson also discussed his new book, Catherine, the Princess of Wales, which was released on Tuesday, August 6.

He said to Us Weekly last month, “[Kate] will do the school run and drop whenever possible, she makes a point of being there for the school plays and sports days too.” “The princess thinks that doing the small things on a regular basis is really important.”

In addition, he described Kate and William, 42, as a “team” when it comes to parenting their children. Since before they were married, they have valued each other’s opinions above all and have never made a choice without first talking to each other.

Even for complicated issues, the prince is aware that Catherine has workable answers,” he said. “They are not just husband and wife, but also very close friends and partners.”

When Kate made her first public appearance at Trooping the Colour in June since receiving her cancer diagnosis, her husband and children were there to support her. She watched the Royal Air Force fly-over from the Buckingham Palace balcony with Queen Camilla, Charles, 75, and other royals.

Attendees gave Kate and Charlotte a standing ovation when they saw one other at Wimbledon last month.
