The streaming service often labels its limited series as such, but Bodkin lacks that designation. As a result, we can guess that Netflix and the series’ creators have a long-term vision for the series.

Will has collaborated with a UK newspaper, so when investigative journalist Dove Malone (Siobhán Cullen) finds herself in deep water after a story she’s working on goes catastrophically wrong, the editors send her and super-organized researcher Emmy Sizergh (Robyn Cara) to assist Gilbert on his podcast.
