When Tudum inquired as to whether he was deceased, showrunner Jim Mickle replied, “Perhaps.”
It is highly improbable that his sibling Johnny, portrayed by Marlon Williams, will return, as the General assassinated him for attempting to obstruct him from entering Gus’s residence.
Another character who did not make it out alive was tiny Roy, who was slain at the start of the season, and the kind-hearted Aimee Eden, played by Dania Ramirez, unfortunately dies by the conclusion of season 2, refusing to take any treatment based on hybrid blood.

Mickle described her death as follows: “Aimee, who already had the Sick when she mustered up the strength to take part in the final battle at Yellowstone, eventually died from the virus.”

“Season 3 is an Arctic saga with exciting new experiences and, hopefully, a satisfying finish to this epic tale. Gus will witness a side of the world and mankind that he did not see in seasons one or two.
He also mentioned that season 3 will have a darker tone than previous seasons. “In season 3, everybody is dealing with some kind of wound or emotional loss, whether that was somebody in their life or a part of themselves,” Mickle told Netflix in an interview. “Everyone is looking internally, trying to move on, and ultimately realizing that life does not end. “You must keep putting one foot in front of another.”
Susan Downey and Amanda Burrell have both mentioned the escalating tensions in season 3, so it’s evident the stakes will be considerably higher.
