Viewers are eager to start watching the horror film First Omen and are eagerly awaiting the highly anticipated release date. The First Omen is a precursor to Richard Donner’s highly successful 1976 picture The Omen, which piques viewers’ interest. This is the estimated release date of The First Omen.
What is the Anticipated Release Date for The First Omen on Streaming Services?
June 2024 is the rumored release date for First Omen on streaming services. As of this writing, the date of the streaming release is unknown.
Films from 20th Century Studios usually become available on streaming platforms one to two months following their theatrical releases. For instance, on November 14, 2023, The Creator, which debuted in theaters on September 29, 2023, was made available on Netflix.
The First Omen’s June 2024 streaming release is therefore much more likely if one follows The Creator’s streaming plan. The First Omen tells the tale of an American woman assigned to a Rome church. In this instance, the woman discovers a malevolent plot to usher in the Antichrist.
Nell Tiger Free, Ralph Ineson, Sônia Braga, Tawfeek Barhom, María Caballero, Charles Dance, Bill Nighy, Nicole Sorace, and Ishtar Curry Wilson are among the cast members of The First Omen.
When Will The First Omen be Available on Hulu?
The First Omen will be accessible via Hulu‘s streaming service. This is because 20th Century Studios, a subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company that also owns the Hulu streaming platform, produces The First Omen. Subscribers of Hulu will retain access to The First Omen upon its initial release. According to The First Omen’s official synopsis:

Production of The First Omen
An announcement was made in April 2016 regarding the development of a prequel to The Omen (1976), with Ben Jacoby penning the script and Antonio Campos reportedly in talks to direct. In May 2022, Arkasha Stevenson signed on to helm in her first feature film, and 20th Century Studios started working on it.
Phantom Four Films is the production label that David S. Goyer and Keith Levine used. Late August 2022 saw the casting of Nell Tiger Free in the major role. The cast of the movie, which includes Tawfeek Barhom, Sônia Braga, Ralph Ineson, and Bill Nighy, was revealed on January 3, 2024.
From September 19 to November 22, 2022, principal photography was conducted on soundstages at Lumina Studios and on-site in Rome. A farm in Procoio and buildings in Villa Parisi were used to depict the orphanage.

Eve Stewart, the production designer, said, “We wanted it to be a very unique and beautiful building, and since we couldn’t find everything within one building, we put three buildings together and made sure that they all linked well with one another”. On the soundstage, the basement was constructed.
Paco Delgado, who designed the outfits, aimed for a gothic aesthetic. To achieve Stevenson’s idea of “the figures sort of floating through the hallways,” he devised light clothing that moves with the breeze.
Although the film is set in the 1970s, the girls at the orphanage were dressed in 1940s/1950s clothing because the crew intended to create a “specific ambience”. Delgado drew inspiration for Margaret’s ensemble from the 1970s Yves Saint Laurent collection. Adrien Morot was the monster and prosthetics designer.
