Finally, Demon Slayer Season 4’s Release Date Set By Crunchyroll!

The Crunchyroll release date for Season 4 of The Demon Slayer has been officially confirmed by both Aniplex of America and the anime streaming platform. A press release from Crunchyroll unveiled a new trailer for the fourth season of Demon Slayer and announced that it will premiere on the service on Sunday, May 12, 2024.

Subsequently, weekly premieres of new episodes of the season will be accessible on Crunchyroll across the following regions: Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, CIS, India, and Southeast Asia.

Despite the absence of a release date for the dubs in Hindi, Tamil, English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, and Italian, the upcoming season will also be available in those languages.

Haruo Sotozaki once more assumes the direction of the upcoming season at UFOtable, while Akira Matsushima serves as the Chief Animation Director and Character Designer. Yuki Kajiura and Go Shiina are, at last, performing the music.

How Much of the Manga Will Be Adapted for Season 4 of Demon Slayer?

The manga’s Hashira Training arc, the penultimate arc in the series, is slated to be adapted for Demon Slayer’s fourth season right before the series finale. But it’s still unknown how far the anime will advance this season.

At a regular rate of two chapters per episode, the manga’s Hashira Training arc spans just nine chapters or roughly four to five episodes in total. Though the season will probably run longer than that, what content will there be left over?

Fans have been wondering where the cutoff will be because it seems like a strange decision to only adopt a portion of the final battle, and then have a significant lapse before the final battle is finished in season 5.

Though the premiere didn’t seem to suggest it, Demon Slayer will likely choose to adapt the Hashira Training arc more slowly, covering only one chapter every episode and filling the remainder with anime-original content. There is no official word on how long season 4 of the well-liked anime will run, so it’s also likely that this may be a short season.

Demon Slayer Season 4 Crunchyroll Release Date

One would anticipate that if season 4 were to, at least partially, adapt the final arc, it would have been heavily featured in the series’ marketing; instead, Hashira has received the most attention. This implies that season 4 might only feature a modest number of episodes overall, which might account for why it was able to release somewhat rapidly following season 3.

Fans won’t be able to wait much longer for season 4, whatever is in store for them. It is now clear that the debut of Demon Slayer’s fourth season is just over a month away. Hopefully, the answers to these queries will be available shortly.

What Will Happen in Demon Slayer Season 4?

The synopsis for the upcoming season states, “The Hashira, the highest-ranking swordsmen of the Demon Slayer Corps.” Ahead of the imminent decisive confrontation with Muzan Kibutsuji, the Hashira Training is initiated. Although brimming with determination and faith, Tanjiro and the Hashira each embark on a new narrative.
