Elliot Page Starrer Close to You Sets Release Date in August This Year!

The release date for the forthcoming drama film Close to You, which will be led by Elliot Page and Hillary Baack, has been disclosed. On Friday, August 16, the film, which was an official selection at the Toronto International Film Festival, will be released in theaters across the nation. Dominic Savage wrote and directed the film, which was adapted from a story by Savage and Elliot Page.

Krishnendu Majumdar, Richard Yee, Daniel Bekerman, Chris Yurkovich, Dominic Savage, and Elliot Page served as producers on Close to You. Anita Gou, Sam Intili, Nia Vazirani, Francine Maisler, Matt Jordan Smith, and Andrew Frank served as executive producers. One hour and forty minutes, or 100 minutes, is the duration of the film.

Since his transition, Sam (Elliot Page) has not been at home, according to the film’s synopsis. “For his father’s birthday, he embarks on a long-awaited journey back to his birthplace, following four years in Toronto. He confronts unresolved traumas and reunites with an old flame upon his arrival.
