The raunchy comic Minx was praised for its strange characters and vivid depiction of the adult magazine publishing world in the 1970s. It told the story of the first erotica magazine aimed at women. Minx’s first season aired on HBO Max in 2022. For the second season in 2023, it moved to Starz.

Rapoport told Entertainment Weekly what he thought about the future of Doug and Joyce’s relationship after Joyce turned against him and Doug fell on Constance’s side, becoming president of Minx Magazine in the process.
“He’s made his loyalties clear and he has made his position clear to her.” Rapoport told them and then said, “You can expect a fight.” There will be a fight for Minx’s heart and soul.
The author of Minx is still hopeful that the show will be picked up for a third season, and he or she has more ideas for where the show could go. “Certainly, yes. We have many tales to share. I want season 3 very much. Who says “no”?”
Minx Has Not Been Renewed For A Third Season Yet
Season 2 of Minx got good reviews, but season 3 hasn’t been picked up yet. This shouldn’t be a surprise, since the WGA and SAG-AFTRA are still on strike.
But since Starz saved Minx from cancelation when it left HBO, it doesn’t seem likely that they’d only make one season and end it on a cliffhanger.

Minx Season 3 Story
The end of the second season left a lot of loose ends for the third season of Minx to pick up. Why did Joyce print Shelly’s story about being a lesbian, which she wrote as Bella LaRoux? It could have ended the careers of Richie, Tina, Shelly, Lenny, and Bambi, as well as Joyce.
Each character has plans for what they could do if they were to quit Minx magazine for good. For example, Oscar Montoya’s character Richie has been offered a job directing ads, and Bambi will be busy taking care of Lenny and Shelly’s child.
Joyce, on the other hand, will be stuck if she can’t get along with Minx anymore, which gives Ophelia Lovigood’s character an endless number of story options. The end of season 2 wasn’t just exciting for Joyce, though. Doug is now the head of Minx Enterprises, a job that was meant for both Joyce and Tina.

Lovibond is best known for her part as Kitty Winter, Sherlock Holmes’s student, in Elementary. Before Minx, she had several smaller parts in movies and TV shows.
Jake Johnson plays the other lead in Minx, and he could also come back for season 3 if the show is picked up. Jake Johnson became famous when he played Nick on the show New Girl with Zooey Deschanel. Before he played Doug Renetti, Johnson was in a lot of movies, including comedies like 21 Jump Street.
He also plays the character of Peter B. Parker in the animated Spider-Verse movies made by Sony.
Like most comedies, Minx has a lot of different actors who play different roles. Idara Victor as Tina, Elizabeth Perkins as the cruel Constance, and Jessica Lowe as Bambi are all expected to be back for season 3.
