Hopefully, a release date won’t take too long to announce.

Schmigadoon Season 2: Cast
Apple TV+ says that the main cast from the first season of “Schmigadoon!” will be back for the second season. Cecily Strong, Keegan-Michael Key, Ariana DeBose, Dove Cameron, Jaime Camil, Kristin Chenoweth, Alan Cumming, Ann Harada, Jane Krakowski, Aaron Tveit, and Martin Short are among them.
That probably means that, other than Strong and Key, most of the cast will play completely new Chicago residents. If so, be ready to hear a lot of “You look familiar” jokes and variations on them.
Tituss Burgess, who played Titus Andromedon on “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt,” and Patrick Page, who played Hades in the Broadway hit “Hadestown” and, no joke, the Green Goblin in “Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark,” are two exciting new cast members for season 2.
Cinco Paul, who helped create the show, will once again be in charge of running it, and Lorne Michaels will keep his job as executive producer. Hopefully, the duo and the other creators will think about what worked and what didn’t in season 1 and use their incredibly talented group to their advantage in whatever plan they have for season 2.
