The release date for 300 Prequel Series might be as early as 2026. Various sites reported in late 2024 that Warner Bros. Television was producing 300 television programs. Although the script is still being worked on, Variety stated that sources told them the series would function as a prequel to Zack Snyder’s blockbuster.
The entertainment outlet also revealed that Snyder was in talks to join the movie as director and executive producer. Other producers involved in the previous film, notably Deborah Snyder, may return to the 300 universe with this project.

With no writers or showrunners officially connected to the rumored prequel series, it could be a while before it debuts. If the project begins production next year, it may launch as early as 2026. Once again, this is Sparta! A television series based on 300 is apparently in the works, with plans to expand the tale of the 2006 action film. There is no word on authors or platform, but Variety says that the upcoming TV series would be a precursor to 300, which featured Spartan king Leonidas (Gerard Butler) as he led his band of elite troops in battle against Persian monarch Xerxes (Rodrigo Santoro).
