Recently, Prime Video published the trailer for the upcoming season of The Test. This season will center on Australia’s participation in the ICC Men’s World Test Championship 2023 and their Ashes campaign that same year, according to the ICC’s official website.

In England, Australia met India in the 2023 World Test Championship final. The match was played from June 7th to June 11th, 2023, culminating in their successful outcome. They captured this esteemed trophy for the first time in their annals by triumphing over India by 209 runs.

A few days later, in the 2023 Ashes series, they were tied 2-2 with England. Having won the 2021–22 Ashes tournament, they were granted the historic urn in their possession. Prime Video will offer Season 3 of The Test to stream on May 24, 2024. ScreenHub Australia lists Sheldon Wynne and Adrian Brown as the film’s directors.

According to Rotten Tomatoes, the first two seasons of The Test reflected the Australian cricket team’s recovery from the 2018 ball-tampering controversy. According to reports, during a 2018 test match against South Africa, cameras spotted Cameron Bancroft roughening one side of the cricket ball to his team’s benefit.
