You Gotta Believe Release Date – When Will Luke Wilson’s Baseball Drama Movie Hit the Theatres?

Well Go USA Entertainment has reportedly confirmed the premiere date for You Gotta Believe, an upcoming coming-of-age sports drama starring Luke Wilson and Greg Kinnear (Deadline). This occurs shortly after Well Go USA acquired the theatrical distribution rights to the film in North America.

You Gotta Believe is currently slated to premiere in theatres on August 30 of later this year. Its release month will coincide with that of notable films including The Crow reboot, Borderlands, Trap, Alien: Romulus, and Blink Twice.

Well Go USA CEO Doris Pfardrescher said in a statement, “You Gotta Believe tells the heartwarming story of a group of young boys who truly banded together and learned to play the game they loved for a cause much greater than themselves” after a teammate’s father was diagnosed with terminal cancer. “As a distributor based in Texas, the hometown connections and support of the Little League World Series and John and Robert Ratliff, sons of Bobby Ratliff, who received cancer treatment throughout the LLWS run, make this film even more special for us.”

What is You Gotta Believe About?

“The film will revolve around an underappreciated Fort Worth youth baseball team that paid homage to a teammate’s sick father throughout the season and advanced from its Cinderella season to the 2002 Little League World Series,” the synopsis states. “It is based on a true story.”
