Verity Release Date – Where Can We Expect It to Come?

With the publication of It Ends with Us (2016), the book by American author Colleen Hoover shot to fame, topping the New York Times best-seller list. The popularity of the book prompted the creation of a movie version, which will be released in August 2024. A second movie idea based on one of Hoover’s novels is now under development.

The 2018 novel Verity follows the tale of Lowen Ashleigh, a budding writer recruited to complete the writing of a well-known but sick author. Lowen quickly learns from the eponymous Verity that not everything is as it seems. This is what we have found out if you’re wondering when Verity will premiere. Is the Release Date for Verity Known?

A release date has not yet been officially announced for Verity; however, one is probable in the near future. The Hollywood Reporter reported in May 2024 that Amazon MGM Studios intended to produce a motion picture adaptation of the book Verity.

The screenplay will be authored by Hillary Seitz, with Nick Antosca and Alex Hedlund, both affiliated with the Eat the Cat banner, serving as producers. If the project proceeds as planned and production commences by the conclusion of this year, the earliest possible release date for Verity would be 2026. As of yet, neither the performers nor the director of Verity are known.

The Second Film Adaptation of Hoover to Date

The second of Hoover’s books to be made into a motion picture is Verity. The movie It Ends With Us, which is based on the same-named novel, will open in theaters on August 9, 2024, on June 21, 2024.

In that movie, Blake Lively plays Lily Bloom, a woman whose first love, Atlas (Brandon Sklenar), reappears in her life and draws her into a romance with Ryle Kincaid (Justin Baldoni, who also directs). Hasan Minhaj, Jenny Slate, and Amy Morton also have supporting parts.

Where is Verity Coming Out?

Verity may be available on Amazon Prime Video or in theaters. As stated previously, this is due to the fact that Amazon MGM Studios is producing the film. “When Ashleigh, a struggling writer on the verge of financial ruin, accepts the job offer of a lifetime, the reader follows Lowen.” Following an enigmatic accident that renders his wife Verity Crawford unable to complete the remaining books of a successful series, Jeremy Crawford, the spouse of the best-selling thriller author, has engaged Lowen to conclude the task.

Upon his arrival at the opulent Crawford estate, Lowen gradually becomes aware that things are not entirely as they appear, as he uncovers an undisclosed, confidential manuscript that potentially reveals unsettling revelations regarding the family’s history. As Lowen establishes a rapport with Jeremy and his young son Crew, she is confronted with the dilemma of determining whether Verity’s writings are mere pulp fiction or a foreboding cautionary message from a deranged sociopath.
