The 2020 Korean drama Lovestruck in the City features Ji Chang-Wook and Kim Ji-Won in the principal roles. The protagonist of the romantic friendship series is Park Jae-Won, who during a vacation falls in love with Yoon Seon-Ah. She eventually disappears, leaving him a missive that terminates their relationship. They cross paths a few years later, and Jae-Won discovers a significant truth about his former.
Despite becoming aware that Seon-Ah is not Ji-Won’s true identity, he continues to harbor an intense affection for her. Despite the resolution of their misunderstandings in episode 16, Eun-Oh/Seon-Ah remains averse to being in a committed relationship. She desires to investigate her various facets. Jae-Won assumes the role of an unfamiliar individual and grants her some time.
Eun-Oh arrives at the realization after the preceding episode that she can discover herself in the company of Jae-Won. The two consequently begin dating. In the season one finale, Eun-Oh and Jae-Won are observed engaging in meaningful activities as a typical couple.
Lovestruck in the City Ending
The 17th episode of Lovestruck in the City is not so much the finale as it is a bonus episode. In episode 16, the main performers, Ji Chang-Wook and Kim Ji-Won, already had a happy ending. The other main characters have also split up, but it is for the better.

A new couple, Hae-Na (Hong Soo-Joo) and Oh Dong-Sik (Choi Min-Ho) is the main subject of the last episode. They have been friends since childhood and are supportive of one another. He works as a police officer, but she is a well-known actress. Following their departure from the scene, Eun-Oh leaves Hae-Na down in front of Dong-Sik’s residence. In the winter, she waits for him to return home.
They go into his apartment together when Dong-Sik gets there, and they have supper together. Afterward, he cuts his birthday cake with her and they play games. He is unaware despite the hints she gives him. As he bids her farewell, she requests a minute with him. Hae-Na leans in to give him a kiss on the lips. Dong-Sik is startled and initially rejects her kisses, but eventually yields.
Hae-Na leaves after giving her first kiss and returns to the movie set. The K-drama Lovestruck in the City closes with all the characters getting together for a picture.
Lovestruck in the City Episode 17 Recap & Spoilers
At the outset of episode 17 of Lovestruck in the City, the characters respond with their “firsts.” Rin-Yi (So Ju-Yeon) declares that it evokes memories of her “first love” and discloses that she and Choi Kyung-Joon have ended their relationship. On the contrary, the latter declines to respond to the inquiry and requests that the personnel distance themselves from him. His irritation is caused by Rin-Yi’s decision to terminate their five-year relationship.

Concurrently, Jae-Won (portrayed by Ji Chang-Wook) relates to the audience that the inquiry evokes memories of his “first kiss.” Kim Ji-Won as Eun-Oh taunts him by inquiring about the origin of his initial kiss.
As Eun-Oh enters the kitchen, she recalls her initial romantic interest. “I first fell in love with Kang Geon…during my middle school years,” she explains. He was attired in his school uniform. His appearance suddenly became a little bit more attractive.”

Since middle school, Kang Geon (Ryu Kyung-Soo), Eun-Oh, and Rin-Yi have been the closest companions. Sun-Young (Han Ji-Eun), his ex-girlfriend, ended their relationship due to her misunderstanding of his connection with his two closest companions.
Additionally, in episode 17, Eun-Oh intervenes to rescue a young actress named Hae-Na (Hong Soo-Joo) from a distressing circumstance involving a co-actor. She subsequently discovers that Hae-Na has vanished from the stage. The actress is discovered in her vehicle. Hae-Na requests that Eun-Oh make a delivery for her. A new secondary story commences in the K-drama at this juncture.
