Daily Dose of Sunshine Season 2 Release Date: There’s no question that medical dramas are very popular with viewers. And Daily Dose Of Sunshine is one of them, living up to the genre. Fans aren’t sure if there will be a Season 2 of Daily Dose Of Sunshine because of how well the show is called. This is because it proves something.

But the show just came out on Netflix. People have changed how they think about mental health, which is an interesting thing. With such a deep and unique plot, the show’s future looks bleak. Will it not be back for the next season? We have some bad news for people who like K-dramas. Read on to find out what will happen next with the series.

Daily Dose Of Sunshine is the newest show on Netflix. It is based on the Kakao webtoon of the same name. The show is about a third-year nurse who has been having a hard time since she was moved to the psychiatric department. The show starts in a nice place, but it gets darker as it goes on.

This is because it goes into more detail about mental illness and how it affects someone who works as a doctor. In the middle of all this, the show focuses on Jung Da-eun’s love life while she deals with her problems.

Is Daily Dose of Sunshine Officially Back for a Second Season?

Daily Dose Of Sunshine was just launched on Netflix in early November 2023. As soon as it started, the show got a lot of love from its loyal fans. But as of this writing, the streaming giant hadn’t yet picked up Daily Dose Of Sunshine for a second season.

Well, it’s not very early to continue the show right after the first episode. And Netflix does not have full control over what K-dramas they show. But since it’s a Netflix original show, the big streaming service will decide if it comes back for another season.

But the show did well in terms of how many people watched it. Rotten Tomatoes gave it a perfect score of 10/10, IMDb gave it 8.3 stars, and MyDramaList gave it 8.8 stars. There is a chance for Daily Dose Of Sunshine Season 2 because it got such a high grade.

This is because the streaming service usually looks at the chart of watchers vs. costs to decide whether to renew a show for another season. The show has already amazed viewers and reviewers around the world. So, there’s a good chance it will come back. Netflix hasn’t ended the show yet. There’s still hope for season 2.

While waiting for the premiere of the Daily Dose of Sunshine Season 2, you can watch more shows in the same genre. Some examples of such shows are Duck And Goose Season 3 and Creature Season 2.

But It’s Still Not at the Top of the Netflix List

We already know that Daily Dose Of Sunshine has gotten great reviews. Even so, the show has not made it into Netflix’s Top Ten list. The show has had a hard time getting into the top ten since it first started. The show did make it onto the list later in November, though, and stayed there for almost two weeks.

In these two weeks, the show was shown in almost 28 countries. India, Hong Kong, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Indonesia, Japan, Kuwait, Malaysia, Mexico, Nicaragua, Oman, Panama, Peru, the Philippines, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, and South Korea are some of these countries.

Even so, Netflix hasn’t said anything about Season 2 of Daily Dose Of Sunshine yet. The show did make it to the top ten, but it has since been taken off the list. This is because other well-known K-dramas are now at the top of the charts.

It has Strong Girl Nam-soon, My Demon, Castaway Diva, and Squid Game. Without question, it will be a key factor in renewing the show. Let’s hope that everything works out.

Chances of Season 2 of Daily Dose of Sunshine!

Even though Daily Dose Of Sunshine is a popular Korean soap, it hasn’t made a big splash in places like the US and UK. That could change the choice to renew it. But (as of December 2023), only one month has passed.

Since Netflix usually renews shows two to four months after they air, Daily Dose Of Sunshine Season 2 is possible. There is a catch, though. Webtoons were used as inspiration for the show.

That means it can help build the next season. Netflix can make the choice based on whether the creator has enough information to work with.

Does It Have Enough Sources?

Netflix’s Daily Dose Of Sunshine has already shown all of the Webtoon’s episodes, so there is no room for a second season. So, a lack of the main material can have a very bad effect on the future of the series. However, if the show is approved, Netflix will have to come back with a new plot. It will change how the story is told, which fans might not like.

If you come back for another season, you have to put the people back in dramatic situations. Along with that, they will have to fight the same battle they did in the first season.

The story might not be told as well with this extra stretch. Additionally, the show is based on the real-life events of Lee Ra-ha, who created the Webtoon. That has already reached its logical end.

This makes it less likely that Daily Dose Of Sunshine Season 2 will happen. But right now there is nothing that can be said. This is because Netflix hasn’t said anything yet. Let’s now wait for good news.

Why Does Daily Dose of Sunshine Not Need a New Season?

Okay, so the first season ended the story arc for each character. There isn’t much chance that Daily Dose Of Sunshine will return for a second season. In the end, Da-Eun’s coworkers helped her go back to the psychiatric ward even though the families of the patients were against it. It was because of her mental health.

In the end, they found out that she had a mental breakdown and was in the same ward. The staff was able to calm things down by convincing the families that the nurse’s experience would help the patients get better.

Then Da-Eun was able to help Byeong-hui, who had been depressed in the past. But with the nurse’s help, she got better and later went back to her dream job. The ending also tells the story of Da-Eun and Go-Yun. In the end, they did get together. At the same time, Yu Chan stood up for himself. His coworkers always took advantage of him by giving him too much work to do.

At the end of the season, though, he talked to his boss about quitting because the job was making him feel bad. Luckily, his boss stood by him and helped him deal with his fear disorder.

As for nurse Min Deul-Re, she was finally able to leave her cruel mother. The second one had always used her daughter for their gain. But she cut ties with her mother in the end, paid off the debt, and then got her dream job.

There isn’t much chance of Daily Dose Of Sunshine Season 2 happening since each character’s story has already been nicely wrapped up. But let’s wait until Netflix says something.
