Meanwhile, Dream’s siblings, the Endless, are also making an appearance. Death, Desire, Despair, and Destruction all play a part in the season, each with its own goal. New characters in the season include Johanna Constantine, a descendant of John Constantine, and Alexander Burgess, a strong occultist.

Dream’s fight with the powers of darkness increases as the season progresses. He is forced to face his own mortality as well as the nature of evil. Finally, he must make a decision that will impact the fate of the Dreaming and the entire world.

Of course, this is only one possible Season 2 narrative. The show’s makers have stated that they intend to keep true to the source material while also making the show their own.
