What Can We Expect From Season 2 of Surface?
Sophie loses all recollection of who she is and where she came from after sustaining a severe head injury. Everyone she knows thinks she may have tried to kill herself when she jumped from a San Francisco deck, but she doesn’t buy it.
Suppose all this is true, or if someone shoved her and is now trying to hide the evidence. Their idealized version of her life doesn’t fit with the suicide hypothesis, so she resolves to get her memories back.
As the story develops, she begins to wonder if her husband is who she believes he is and comes to terms with the fact that anybody may be a villain.
It has not been announced what the next episode will be about, although it is expected to revolve around the cliffhanger ending of the first season. The show’s limited run raises the possibility that it won’t be renewed for a full season.
