Ray Singleton, the woman’s husband, confirmed her death on November 15, saying she had been ill for some time and had undergone several rounds of treatment. Ray posted a photo collage of his late wife to Instagram with the caption, “Our wife earned her wings yesterday while peacefully sleeping right at home where she wanted to be.”

Before her surgery, Roslyn became famous after a video of American Idol contestant Ray singing to her went viral. Afterward, the couple was invited to appear on Ellen to discuss the video and Roslyn’s battle with cancer. At the 2020 event, Roslyn disclosed that she had been battling cancer since 2013. She also revealed that she had been tumor-free for six years prior to the diagnosis of a second one in the year 2020.
