Dan Bongino began his career with the New York City Police Department as an officer (NYPD). Between 1995 and 1999, he worked for the New York Police Department for four years.
In 1999, he left the NYPD to work as a special agent for the US Secret Service. In 2002, he was hired as a teacher at the Secret Service Training Academy in Beltsville, Maryland.
