The long-awaited 10th anniversary update for GTA 5 is set to come out on September 14, 2023, which is next week. In its September 7 Newswire, Rockstar Games already said when it would be out. The company made it sound like this update is for GTA Online, so fans shouldn’t expect any big new single-player content.
This GTA 5 10th anniversary update is supposed to come out around the same time that GTA Online weekly updates do. For reference, this patch will probably be released at 4 a.m. (EDT) or 1 a.m. (PDT). Rockstar Games has already shown some of the material, and old data mines also have some useful information about this subject.

Rockstar Games said the following in a Newswire story about the latest GTA Online weekly update, which came out on September 7, 2023:
“Next week, look out for a special event that celebrates the 10 year anniversary of Grand Theft Auto V in GTA Online with new collectibles, the ferocious Bravado Hotring Hellfire sports car, and more.”
This text proves that the GTA 5 10th anniversary update will come out on September 14, 2023. In terms of new material, players can look forward to:
- Some kind of new items
- The debut of the Bravado Hotring Hellfire
- More things I can’t name
It’s important to remember that Grand Theft Auto 5 came out on September 17, 2013, from Rockstar Games. In almost ten years, more than 185 million copies of that book were sold. The actual update marks the 10th anniversary a little bit early, but that’s to be expected since most GTA Online updates happen on Thursdays.
