TWICE’ Upcoming Japanese Album ‘DIVE’ is to Release on July 17!

The girl group Twice’s fifth Japanese full-length record, “Dive,” will come out on July 17. This was announced Wednesday by the group’s management company, JYP Entertainment.

The album is Twice’s first new music to come out in Japan in seven months. Their last music to come out was the digital song “Dance Again” in December of last year. “Celebrate,” the group’s fourth Japanese full-length record, came out in July 2022.

The music was coming out and some promotional pictures of Twice for the album were posted on the group’s Japanese social media pages on Tuesday. In a press statement, JYP Entertainment said, “‘Dive’ will show Twice diving into new stages.”

When the record comes out, it will be seven years since Twice’s “official” debut in Japan. In February 2017, the group put out a digital compilation called “What’s Twice?” They then put out their Japanese debut record “#Twice” in June of that same year.

The Recording Industry Association of Japan awarded “#Twice,” an album of the group’s biggest hits, Platinum in October 2017 because it had sold more than 250,000 copies.

Twice is on a world tour called “Ready to Be” right now. Beginning their trip through Japan, the band will play two shows in Osaka on July 13 and 14. The group will play at Nissan Stadium for the first time as non-Japanese female singers. They have two concerts planned for July 27 and 28.

A South Korean girl ensemble known as Twice was established by JYP Entertainment. Nine individuals make up the group: Tzuyu, Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, and Chaeyoung.

Twice, which debuted on October 20, 2015, with the extended play (EP) The Story Begins and was established under the television program Sixteen (2015), has been bestowed with the honorific title “The Nation’s Girl Group” in their native nation.

In 2016, their single “Cheer Up” propelled them to national prominence. It debuted at number one on the Gaon Digital Chart, claimed “Song of the Year” at both the Melon Music Awards and the Mnet Asian Music Awards, and became the best-performing single of the year.

“TT,” which appeared on their third EP Twicecoaster: Lane 1, spent four consecutive weeks at the summit of the Gaon charts. The EP was the Korean female group’s highest-selling album of 2016. Twenty-two months after their début Twice had accumulated sales in excess of 1.2 million units across their four EPs and special album. The group has amassed a cumulative sales total of 15 million albums in South Korea and Japan as of 2022.
