Philadelphia-area Bad Bunny enthusiasts are making preparations to witness the Latin trap and reggaeton artist perform on a weeknight, the worst-case scenario. Bad Bunny is currently scheduled to perform at the Wells Fargo Center on Friday, April 19 as part of his “Most Wanted” tour; however, that performance may be rescheduled if the Philadelphia 76ers’ efforts to secure a postseason berth in the NBA Play-in Tournament are unsuccessful.
On Wednesday, April 17, the Sixers must defeat the Miami Heat in order to qualify for the postseason. However, should the Sixers fall short in that contest, they will have one more opportunity to avoid elimination from the playoffs on Friday, the day of the concert, in the form of another home game at the Wells Fargo Center.

That would result in the rescheduling of Bad Bunny’s Philadelphia concert from Thursday, April 18 to Thursday, April 18 at the Wells Fargo Center. Social media users expressed disapproval of Ticketmaster’s strategy, with some even questioning the availability of refunds.
“Thank you @Ticketmaster for assuming that everyone can reschedule their lives to make it to Bad Bunny on 4/18 in Philly instead of 4/19 depending on the outcome of a basketball game,” an individual wrote on X.

“I have a hotel room reserved, but I won’t know if I’m attending the show on Thursday or Friday until Wednesday night. Amazing,” wrote a different fan on X. Whichever night the show is held, Bad Bunny will be performing in Philadelphia for the first time since he headlined the Made in America Festival in September 2022.
From 2020 to 2022, Bad Bunny held the top spot for the most Spotify streams for three consecutive years, but in 2023, Taylor Swift, a resident of Berks County, overtook him.
