How To Play Helldivers 2 individually? Check Out

Helldivers 2 doesn’t have a mode where you play by yourself, but you can play by yourself.

Does Helldivers 2 have a game where you can play by yourself? You can jump in by yourself, though it might not be the best idea. When playing Helldivers 2 by yourself, there are some very important things to keep in mind as the bugs and bots get stronger and the tasks get trickier as the difficulty level goes up. I’ll show you how to play Helldiver 2 by yourself and give you some tips for those who are brave enough to do it.

Can You Play Helldivers 2, Solo?

You can play Helldivers 2 by yourself, that’s the short answer. You will go to the planet’s surface by yourself if you are in your Destroyer by yourself when you choose a task. It’s important to note, though, that there is neither a standard single-player campaign mode nor an offline mode. The whole game is online multiplayer co-op.

But should you play Helldivers 2 by yourself? Other people on the GamesRadar+ tips team and I wouldn’t suggest it. Yes, it’s possible. But Helldivers 2 is already a pretty tough game with a full group, and it’s even worse by yourself. At Trivial and Easy, you can handle things by yourself, but things get a lot harder when you get to Medium and Challenging.

How To Play Helldivers 2 individually

After that, solo players can’t do it at all in Hard, Extreme, and higher levels. It’s not worth it to play Helldivers 2 alone on Hard or above unless you’re a skilled player looking for a tough task and already have some of the best Helldivers 2 Stratagems and weapons.

Tips To Play Helldivers 2 Solo

Even though we say you shouldn’t play Helldivers 2 by yourself, there are times when it’s better than matching with randoms in Quickplay. Check out these general Helldivers 2 tips as well as these tips just for soloing:

As a one-Helldiver army, you need to have everything you need to fight all the different types of enemies in Helldivers 2. You shouldn’t just focus on playing a certain team part. You can fight any enemy with explosives, armor-piercing, close-range, and long-range guns and sneaky moves.
Pick a gun and the Guard Dog Stratagem: For solo players, having a Guard Dog (especially the Rover) nearby is a must. Also, having one or two automatic turrets to block flak and add extra firepower is very helpful.
Try your best to stay out of fights: Bug Bursts and Bot Drops can happen at the worst times, and they usually happen when you walk into an enemy patrol by accident. Keep an eye out for these teams and try to stay away from them as much as possible to cut down on the number of fights you have and the amount of gas you use. People who are against you will also not give up, so running away from a big fight rarely works!
Speed is very important: The longer Helldiver’s tasks last, the more crazy they get. A lot of enemies appear, and when the timer runs out, they really start to pile up. To get in and out quickly if you’re by yourself, you should focus as much as possible on the main goals. Wearing light armor will also help you move faster and recover your energy.
Don’t forget the SOS Beacon: If you need help in the middle of a task, you can call in an SOS Beacon to try to get other Helldivers to join your game. You never know if someone will show up, but having an extra body might make all the difference.
