Cyberpunk 2077 came out for the first time in December 2020. The launch of the game was not easy for the company that made it, CD Projekt Red. Phantom Liberty DLC Story Details
CD Projekt Red says that Phantom Liberty is a new spy story for the Cyberpunk 2077 game. Players will come back as cyber-enhanced mercenary V and go on a high-stakes mission of spying and intrigue to save the NUS President.
In the dangerous neighborhood of Dogtown, they have to find ways to work together despite broken bonds and shady political dealings. The new trailer for the DLC starts with a NUSA intelligence analyst named Songbird talking to V. He or she tells V that they can get better if they help the NUSA with a very important task.
The video shows a brand-new part of Night City as well as some of the weapons that players can use. Idris Elba is also revealed to be a NUSA sleeper spy named Solomon Reed. It seems like Solomon Reed is a gray character who might not be as reliable as Johnny Silverhand.
In this spy story, the rock star Samurai comes back to help V find his way through the chaos. This will give players new ways to play the game like never before.
CD Projekt Red says that the DLC will add a new skill tree and new powers that players can use as a brawler, a net runner, or a cruel mercenary. In the old trailers, Silverhand can also be heard scolding the main character V after he or she takes a promise to “faithfully serve the New United States of America.”
