Black Panther: Wakanda Forever has made $205,101,967 in Domestic and $150,325,849 at the International level. This made the worldwide collection $355,427,816 which is very amazing. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is expected to make $70 million to $72 million in its second weekend, which is about 60% less than its first weekend. The Disney and Marvel Studios sequel, which was directed by Ryan Coogler, has made $204.8 million in five days.
On Tuesday, it made $12.4 million, making it the third-best Tuesday of November after Frozen 2 ($20.8 million) and The Hunger Games: Catching Fire ($15.96 million) from Lionsgate.
Some people think that Wakanda Forever’s length might be its Achilles’ heel in terms of long legs, but it is the only must-see title on the marquee for those off from school (45% on Monday and Tuesday, 80% on break Wednesday, and 100% on Thanksgiving and Black Friday). Strange World, a family-friendly animated movie, is also coming out Wednesday.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever First Week Collection

November 11 | $84,285,721 |
November 12 | $56,131,051 |
November 13 | $40,922,989 |

Black Panther 2, which opened in 4,396 theatres in the U.S. on Friday, made $84 million on that day alone. This was one of the biggest opening days of all time and almost tied with Avengers: Age of Ultron for No. 9 on the list, not taking inflation into account. The previews on Thursday night brought in $28 million for Friday. It was Veteran’s Day on Friday.
People who saw Coogler’s movie gave it an A CinemaScore and strong exits on PostTrak. The first Black Panther got an A+, which is a big difference. PostTrak says that 34% of the people who went to see it were Black, followed by 31% of those who were White, 21% of those who were Latino, and 14% of those who were Asian or other. It was also more evenly between men and women than most superhero movies, with 45 percent of the audience being women.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Worldwide Collection
Wakanda opened with $180M in 50 overseas markets, including some that got it on Wednesday. This gave it a $330M global start. That makes it the 11th-best start for the MCU worldwide, though it’s 5% behind the first Black Panther from 2018.
Even though it came out in China three weeks after the rest of the world, the last movie made $105.0M there. The second game hasn’t been released in China yet. Before the weekend, it looked like Wakanda Forever would open with around $175 million. The Hunger Games: Catching Fire opened in November 2013 and made 158 million dollars.
Can it become the third movie of the year to make more than $1 billion worldwide, even though China and Russia, which made up about $124 million of the first movie’s $682 million worldwide box office, are no longer in play? Even though it’s hard, it’s not impossible. It’s possible to make more than $500 million in the U.S. (that would be a multiplier of at least 2.7), and another $500 million overseas would be a drop of about $58 million from the original plan when the two MIA markets are taken out of the picture.
