Subsequently, from 2017 to 2018, she served as the White House director of communications. From 2020 to 2021, she resumed her service as a counselor to the president.
Hicks was a teen model prior to pursuing a media and communications vocation, which she inherited from her father. Following her graduation from college and a few years of experience in public relations, she was hired by the Trump Organization.
