Stephen Colbert is taking “The Late Show” on the road. The late-night program will air live on the CBS Television Network from the Auditorium Theatre in Chicago from August 19-22, during this year’s Democratic National Convention, which is also being held in Chicago. Additionally, “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” will be streamable live and on-demand through Paramount+.
Colbert disclosed the information during the Wednesday evening airing of “The Late Show.” Colbert stated, “Having spent eleven years in Chicago, the city will always hold a special place in my heart, and not just because of the Polish sausage lodged in my aorta.” “Performing at the Second City in Chicago is where I first gained experience, and this South Carolina boy attended school there during the winter months.” Unbeknownst to you, tears really can congeal.
