What Happened Between Dan and Janelle? Dan Gheesling and Janelle Pierzina have to be the first two people inducted into the ultimate Big Brother Hall of Fame. While some “legends” failed to impress us, these strategic geniuses not only wowed us with their play, but they also easily won our hearts.

Do you remember the big surprise in Big Brother 14? A deal between Janelle and Dan was getting a lot of attention, but there was a surprise! We were all too shocked to say anything after Dan’s sneaky move. Now that Season 2 of The Traitors is almost here, will this powerful duo make up and work together?

Before the first episode, Distractify talked to Dan and Janelle about their time on Big Brother and the chance for these fan favorites to finally work together on The Traitors.

What Happened Between Dan and Janelle on ‘Big Brother’?

Janelle’s first time on Big Brother was in 2005. In Season 6, she became a fan favorite and finished in the top three. The next summer, she went back for All-Stars and set a record for most tournament wins while again coming in third.

When she came back for Big Brother 14, her old rival Mike “Boogie” Malin and Season 10 winner Dan Gheesling quickly kicked her off the show. Janelle had the same thing happen to her in the second season of All-Stars.

Dan’s opinion on the idea of backdooring Janelle changed because she wouldn’t vote out one of her original partners. After the fourth Power of Veto battle, Boogie suggests that it be used to carry out a secret plan against Big Brother’s Queen.

Later, Dan makes Janelle an offer: Joe will go up if Frank is turned down. But Janelle’s doubt means that all four teachers will not be able to work together. Dan has no choice but to take Boogie’s offer, and the “Silent Six” alliance plans to sneak Janelle in. On Day 34, Janelle was kicked off by a vote of 8 to 1.

In Season 2 of “The Traitors,” Dan and Janelle Look Out for Each Other

The fact that Dan helped get Janelle kicked out makes fans wonder if he should be on the lookout for a way to get back at them in Season 2 of The Traitors. He doesn’t seem to be responsible for anything, though, since Janelle told Distractify that she was excited to work with her fellow Big Brother star.

“I was going to work with Dan for sure.” When I saw him, I thought, “I’m going to work with Dan if I get picked as a traitor, which I hope I do.” Even if he’s a rogue, I’ll still work with him. She planned to work with him, and she made sure to stress that she had defended him several times during the game.

Dan agreed and said, “When I got out of the Jeep and saw Janelle, it was one of those times when I looked at her and thought, ‘You know I got your back.'” “No matter what, I’ve got your back.” My only worry was that I didn’t want to spend too much time with Janelle because it would have made us stand out even more.

Still, you need to find little windows of time to check in with each other because the game moves so quickly. For me, though, seeing Janelle made me feel like we were done for good. “You can’t say that, but I knew I wanted to work with her until the end of the game,” he said.
