About Heaven Official’s Blessing

On October 31, 2020 donghua, CBR debuted a donghua series based on the novel Heaven Official’s Blessing on Bilibili and Funimation. On Jinjiang Literature City, a well-known Chinese platform for publishing and serialising online fiction, the book was first released in 2017.

There are 244 chapters in total, plus eight chapters that contain four post-canonical stories. A manhua that was released by Bilibili and had illustrations by STARember and the novel is also available. In February 2022, five books were finished.

Heaven Official’s Blessings Season 2: Plot

The first season of Heaven’s Official Blessing started with an extra episode. Due to his valiant deeds on behalf of humanity more than 800 years ago, former human Xie Lian was raised to the status of God.

He used to be very well-known before he witnessed the atrocities of war and decided to come back to Earth. Because of this, even though he advocates non-violence, he is a fallen divinity with very limited spiritual strength.

He meets San Lang, a red-clad man while making his third ascent as a God of trash and suffering. Xie Lian’s past is connected to this unidentified stranger. They start their investigation and look for ghosts with two additional angelic police officers.

Revelations for the New Season

Hua Cheng as the King of the Ghost Town, where Xie Lian and the Wind God sneak in to look into a case, is likely to be an interesting new addition to the series, for those who haven’t already seen the trailer or teaser for Season 2.

Before this, there had already been a special episode, the 12th, featuring San Lang and Xie Lian. This episode clarified the dynamics of their relationship as well as their mysterious past. Emperor Pei and the Crown Prince had reservations about San Lang’s conduct.
