Catherine Richards From ‘Love is Blind UK’ is Now Dating Her Co-star, Jake Singleton-hill

Outside of the Love Is Blind UK pods, Catherine “Cat” Richards and Jake Singleton-Hill had a connection.

“A member of the pods is with me.” The 29-year-old Cat hinted on Friday, August 23, in the “Bailiwick Express” podcast, “I’m with a guy with a dog, and the dog lives with us.”

In the first season of the British counterpart of the dating show, Cat and Jake, both 32, entered the pods and made relationships with other people. Ollie Isaac, Freddie Powell, and Cat were in a romantic triangle from the very first episode.

In the end, Cat decided to back out of the triangle and concentrate on her relationship with Freddie, 32, as Ollie, 32, was also getting to know Demi Santana Brown.

Although Cat and Freddie were engaged before they even met, their relationship soured when they did. By the end, Freddie had decided against marrying Cat.

Jake, on the other hand, did not appear in any Love Is Blind episodes despite being engaged in the pods as well. Once the filming was over, Cat contacted him.

“I reached out to him, but his journey was really rough in there, like, the way he was treated,” she recalled. “I had only seen Freddie and the couples on the retreat, so I hadn’t seen him. Then, I noticed him on social media and thought, ‘Oh, that Jake!'” Is he the one from the show, I wonder?

After the pod experience, Cat claims she DM’d Jake to “check in” on him, and they hit it off right away.

He was like, ‘Wait, aren’t you married?’ at first. It was obviously what would have happened two weeks later, so I thought, “Funny story.” I said, “Well, no,” and we FaceTimed after that, Cat continued. “We spoke every day for five weeks after spending about five hours on FaceTime that evening.”

“After that, I went to see him for the weekend, and now we live together with the dog,” she went on.

Due of Jake’s commitment to his dog and the fact that he was “popular” with the other women, Cat first rejected Jake throughout the experiment.

On Friday, Cat clarified, “Everyone talks about their connections in the girl’s lounge.” “Freddie’s name was not publicized, but Jake’s was.” With Freddie, I felt a genuine connection—I wanted him more than anything else. Since I wouldn’t be with Jake if that hadn’t happened, I wouldn’t change that.
