DMX Cause of Death: It was hard for hip-hop legend DMX his whole life. He was known for having a powerful stage appearance and writing powerful lyrics. Without a doubt, Earl Simmons, who was born on December 18, 1970, in Mount Vernon, New York, had a huge impact on rap culture.

Fans and people in the music business are sad that DMX died too soon. If you look at the most current evidence, DMX’s cause of death shows a complicated story full of personal struggles and health problems.

This look into the events leading up to DMX’s death sheds light on the factors that contributed to the passing of this important figure in the rap business.

DMX Cause of Death

The real reason why rapper DMX died has been revealed. As it stands, DMX died of a heart attack caused by cocaine that cut off blood flow to his brain.

DMX, whose real name was Earl Simmons, died on April 9 in Westchester County, New York. He was 50 years old. He was taken to the hospital on April 2, and TMZ had already reported that he had a heart attack and an overdose of cocaine.

A message sent by Simmon’s family after his death said, “Earl was a warrior who fought till the very end.” “He loved his family very much, and we will always remember the times we spent with him.” Earl’s music moved many people all over the world, and his famous memory will last forever.

Does DMX Have a History of Drug Abuse?

In his songs, the Ruff Ryder artist was open about his problems with drug use. He had been an addict all his adult life. In 2016, Page Six reported that DMX had failed to breathe and had no pulse after taking too many drugs in a Westchester, New York parking lot.

Luckily, there was a medic on site who gave Narcan, which is an opioid antagonist that cops use to reverse the effects of a heroin overdose. When the artist became “semiconscious,” he was taken to a nearby hospital and given medical care.

DMX’s Music Career

He began his career in 1985 as a beatboxer for a neighborhood rapper named Ready Ron. At their small shows, Ron would break out as a rapper, and DMX would beatbox and add his lyrics.

It was under the name “Darkman X” (which stands for “Divine Master of the Unknown”) that he started singing. He changed it to “DMX” when he saw that Ron was becoming more famous in the scene.

After his two-year jail sentence, he started writing songs and putting on shows at the neighborhood center for little kids. In 1988, when he was in jail for stealing a car, he spent more of his free time writing lyrics and fighting other prisoners.

During this time, he came up with a method called “Spellbound” in which he spelled out every word one at a time. He fought K-Solo, who would later become his enemy.

After that, in January 1991, he did a solo on The Stretch Armstrong and Bobbito Show. The Source gave DMX good marks in its Unsigned Hype column, which was about up-and-coming hip-hop artists.

In 1991, DMX signed a management deal with Ruff Ryders Entertainment, a record label that wasn’t very well known at the time. Later that same year, DMX signed a record deal with Columbia Records.

His big debut song, “Born Loser,” came out in 1993 on Chaos Records and Ruffhouse Records, two of Columbia Records’ subsidiary labels.

After his deal with Ruffhouse was broken because he didn’t meet commercial expectations and didn’t make it to any music charts, he went on to work as an independent artist.
