On March 23rd, fans saw the episode “Boston’s Little Girl Missing,” which opened with a brief history of the Bay State. Massachusetts, the third most populous state in the United States, is also known for its excellent educational institutions. A child’s body was discovered in a trash bag on Deer Island’s shoreline in June of 2015.
The youngster, 2-year-old Bella Amoroso Bond, was eventually identified thanks to the combined efforts of the police and the community. It took months of forensic examination and widespread media coverage to determine what had happened to the little boy or girl who had washed up on the beach. Investigators speculated she was slain and her body dumped nearby about 10 p.m., with the tide bringing her remains to Deer Isle.
After Bella was positively identified, her mother and her boyfriend were taken into custody on charges of murder. Bella, who became known as Baby Doe because of this case, was murdered in mysterious circumstances.
