About Boston Strangler Movie

The Boston Strangler is the latest true crime story to be turned into a movie or TV show, but this time there’s a twist. Even though it’s based on the real-life case of Albert DeSalvo, who was sentenced to life in prison in the 1960s for killing 13 women in Massachusetts, the movie is mostly about two journalists who are determined to find out who the killer is.

People called these killings “the silk stocking murders.” Before we get into the details of Boston Strangler, let’s look at the official synopsis to get a sense of what the upcoming true crime thriller will be about:

“Based on the infamous Boston Strangler murders, this is the true story of Loretta McLaughlin, the first reporter to connect the murders and break the story of the Strangler. She and fellow reporter Jean Cole challenged the sexism of the early 1960s to report on the city’s most notorious serial killer and worked tirelessly to keep women informed.”

But no one paid attention to it back in the day until Loretta McLaughlin took matters into her own hands to try to save the lives of several women who were in danger.
