The full post reads:

“Hey guys. Quick note to tell you that I’ve sadly tested positive for Covid, so I’m now self-isolating and following government guidelines. It means that I’m now unable to plough ahead with any in person commitments for now, so I’ll be doing as many of my planned interviews/performances I can from my house. Apologies to anyone I’ve let down. Be safe everyone x”

“That breaks my heart! Hopefully, you’ll feel better soon.” One concerned and loyal fan wrote under the original post.

“Stay safe, Ed!” yelled another.

Fans can catch the musician on tour in the U.K. and Europe, but the first show isn’t until April 2022. Speculation is rife that the actor is secluding himself in his multi-million dollar Suffolk mansion.

Despite having a sizable property portfolio worth an estimated £61 million, the father-of-one residence is a stunning 16-acre property near Framlingham, Suffolk, valued at an estimated £3.7 million.

“=” or Equals,” the new album from Ed Sheeran, will debut on October 29.  Earlier this week, it was reported that Sheeran would be appearing on Apple Music’s Zane Lowe’s show next week to discuss and perform songs from his recently released sophomore album. Sheeran has written in his post that he may not be able to physically attend shows, interviews, and performances, but he will continue to complete his longings from his home, as he has previously stated in the past.

Regardless of whether or not someone has received a vaccination, this is the law and no one is excluded. The news for Ed comes at a time when positive Covid-19 cases are soaring in the United Kingdom.

As per official government statistics, 328,287 citizens tested positive in the last seven days, with over 900 deaths and 6,720 hospitalizations.
