In a recent reflection, Dancing With The Stars participant Julianne Hough looked back on her years spent with American Idol presenter Ryan Seacrest. The two were together from 2010 until 2013. She spoke about how they had found a private space in a fancy restaurant in Los Angeles on their first date.
Since Julianne was much younger than Ryan, when they first started dating, her career was in its infancy while his name was well-established in the entertainment business. Even though she came to the realization that she had to forge her own route, she still values their time spent together.
Julianne Hough Shared Details About Her Initial Date with Ryan Seacrest
Despite the fact that their three-year relationship didn’t work out, Julianne Hough has positive memories of her time spent with Ryan Seacrest.
Julianne discussed her friendship with American Idol host Andy Cohen in a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen. She shared some information regarding their first date, including the location of their meeting.
Julianne compared it to the renowned restaurant at the Beverly Hills Hotel, saying, “I think it was like Polo Lounge or something.” She said that even though it was a well-known celebrity hangout, they still had a lot of privacy.
A few days ago, Julianne was interviewed on Dax Sheppard’s Armchair Expert podcast and gave her reasons for believing their relationship hadn’t worked out.
Ryan felt that “the rug was swept up from underneath me” and that she was abruptly exposed to things that she “didn’t even know existed” because of her reputation in the entertainment world.
“I was so insecure that I kept thinking, ‘I don’t want anyone to ever think that I’m with him because of this.'” I then began to play smaller as a result. I am aware of his prior experiences with similar circumstances, so I overcompensated once more and was adaptable to become exactly what someone needed me to be in order for them to be happy.”
Many People Were Disappointed When Julianne and Ryan Split Up
Even though it was obviously none of their business, Julianne Hough felt that everyone had something to say about her decision to end her relationship with Ryan Seacrest in 2013.
“I recall that many of the moms and producers in Brentwood asked me, ‘What are you doing?'” when I made the decision to end things. Julianne disclosed. It seems they believed she could have lived a simpler life by staying with him.
“And I asked, ‘What are you saying?'” “Your life is completely set up,” they say. “However, I didn’t build it,” I said. Naturally, I felt competitively that I had to build this even if it wasn’t mine. And I want the satisfaction of finishing it.
She also understood that the insecurity she had experienced in her relationship with Ryan had persisted in her other relationships and that she needed to take some time to work on herself.
She said, “I don’t know if I’ve ever truly been in love with someone, but I have loved the feeling of being loved.” This realization came to her over time.
Therefore, please allow me to be who I need to be in order for me to be appreciated. And so, of course, I love you, since I’m so full of love from someone. Everyone is loved by me. I’ve dated a lot of people and I’ve always been in love, but have I really? Since everyone I’ve dated has been a wonderful person, I don’t want to overthink things.
