Bethenny Frankel is not happy with a Hamptons eatery. The Real Housewives of New York City actress told a tale on her podcast about how an unidentified business that she claims she helped make popular hasn’t given them any credit for her assistance.
The reality TV actress said that she went to the restaurant for dinner expecting a warm welcome after making it go viral, but she was instantly ignored. She grumbled that she forced customers to purchase their “overpriced” food and that she received no gratitude at all.
Bethenny Frankel Filed a Complaint Accusing Her of Not Being Recognized by a Restaurant
On her Just B podcast, Bethenny Frankel recently went on the attack, claiming that a Hamptons restaurant she assisted in promoting has never thanked her for her assistance. She vented her frustration to the audience without mentioning the establishment.
She remarked on the show, “I know this is going to sound ridiculous, and I can’t believe I’m ever gonna say this, but I have, to put it mildly, made this one Hamptons establishment viral.”
Although Bethenny acknowledged that the restaurant had “always been successful with the people in the Hamptons,” she claimed that she should be commended for having “made it viral” and “a destination.”
She continued, saying, “I made people come there to get certain items that are so expensive” and claimed the food at the restaurant was “psychotically overpriced” and “drastically” priced.
She said, “I went back to visit there just to get some recognition.” “Like, to get some food, but also, just for someone to exclaim, ‘Whoa, that was hilarious!'” Not by any means, like, kiss my ass. Simply to look me in the face and say anything like, “That was crazy,” “That’s funny,” or anything else like “LOL.”
Why Bethenny Frankel Believes No One Thanked Her?
Bethenny Frankel has a theory about why she receives “nothing” when she visits the restaurant she claims to have made famous. She suspects that the locals who frequent the place don’t acknowledge her because they see her as a wealthy outsider, which they resent.
Despite her insistence that she had “only ever gone in there wanting to celebrate them,” she ended up looking like what she described as “the Justin Bieber of this place.”
She confessed, “I thought I was such hot s***, but these specific locals didn’t even acknowledge my presence.” They were bothered, not just unbothered. And I found it troubling because I believe it matters who we stand by.
She continued by providing other instances of how excessively pricey the food was at this business, stating that they were charging “$30, $40 for guacamole or chicken salad — the basic foods.”
“You better be kind to me if you’re going to f*** me.” I’m just begging for it. Otherwise, it’s not possible. “The people making the guacamole are laughing that schmucks like us would pay $40 for guacamole,” she said, adding, “We’re not f****** again.”
Thus, restaurant owners, you better be sure you thank Bethenny a lot later if you want her to promote your establishment.
