The less you know about how it all develops, the better your experience will be, even though some things are simpler in retrospect. The gift Darcy brings is another topic. A wooden guy who appears like Pinocchio grew up to be a screaming, in anguish being sits almost still in the home when you can see him and changes when you can’t.
Though common, it’s terrifyingly effective. Some of this is due to the creature’s design, which looks truly carved from wood from some perspectives and more alive in others, but the presentation is also noteworthy. Every time you don’t see it, you wonder what it’s doing. Not seeing is as scary as seeing.
