Marc Jacobs is an American fashion designer. He was born on April 9, 1963. Marc Jacobs, his own fashion label, and formerly Marc by Marc Jacobs, a diffusion line that was manufactured for approximately 15 years prior to its discontinuation after the 2015 fall/winter collection, are both under his direction. It had more than 200 retail locations in 80 countries at its height. From 1997 to 2014, he served as the creative director of the French design enterprise Louis Vuitton.

Marc paid $9.2 million for a residence in Rye, New York, in April 2019. Frank Lloyd Wright conceived of the Max Hoffman House, a residence situated in Westchester.
