Childhood best friends Hilton, 43, and Ritchie, 42, have reportedly spent months generating concepts. Wednesday, the original “It Girls” of the 2000s even alluded to their forthcoming collaboration via an enigmatic Instagram post.

Hilton and Ritchie each published an Instagram post featuring a collage capturing memories from their youth. They both titled the posts with “From Day 1: Sill and Bill,” which was a play on their Simple Life monikers for one another.

As soon as word of the new undertaking circulated, production companies engaged in a “all-out bidding war” for it. The programme is still in the developmental phases of production, and filming has not yet commenced. Fullwell 73, the filming company of former television presenter James Corden, acquired the filming rights.
